I have terrible hair. It’s super thin and dull brown, although gray is quickly overtaking the brown strands.
I’ve never been able to style my hair the way I want it. Even professionals have tossed their hands up in defeat. Hair model has never been in the cards, and sadly, the older I get, the less likely I’ll have a good hair day ever.
A lot of the time, I don’t even look in the mirror to see what my hair is doing. On many occasions, the Better Half has kindly suggested I put on a hat, knowing whatever disaster is happening on my crown is unfixable.
Sometimes the disasters provide comedy, such as this do:
I mean, how can you not laugh at that?
It is different
That’s a way of putting it.
TB. I have similar hair issues. In my youth it was gull and a nice shade of brown (is there such a thing?). Now it’s thin and lifeless. So I find the shorter it is the more manageable. So take heart you are not alone in the wild hair department. Wear the wild with pride.
Oh, I try to rock it now. I mean, it’s nice to make people laugh…
Reminds me of Ben Stiller in There’s Something About Mary. Please tell me you are using proper hair styling products!!!!!!
I’m not actually using any hair product. It does this naturally.
I’m the same. I look a bit like a sack of potatoes when I get out of bed. Sometimes I feel like shaving it all off so I look the same in the morning as I did when I went to bed, but I would look like a Nazi with a skinhead. I suppose Lizzie would understand!!
Well I will have to say Mohawks are not very sexy looking. But those eyes are what you’re better half looks at. So don’t worry about the hair.
Aww, thanks!
Let’s hope you never get cancer because the chemo puts a whole different spin on what your hair wants to do. I had perfectly straight hair prior to treatment but now it is curly in all the wrong places!!! I had always wanted curly hair but not like this. Of course, having to use dog clippers to trim it now because of the pandemic has not helped. No, not at all!
Sending positive thoughts and be careful with the dog clippers. I’ve also used that in the past year, and it made my hair super fluffy, which made it stick up even more.
